The fun part!
The Brief
After our initial phone or personal conversation, I will send over a digital questionnaire to ask you a LOT of questions about who you are and what you want to achieve for your business design goals. This step is crucial – so be prepared to spend a bit of time on it. Not only does it help me, but it really helps you in getting clear on your vision.
The Sitemap
Once I have all the information I need, I’ll put together a basic sitemap – a visual skeleton of how your site is laid out – pages, call-to-actions, etc. This will give us a sound foundation to build from.
The Prototype
Once the sitemap is approved, I will create a live test site on my server which we can both view during the build. I will set up the basic structure with all of its pages and links. We won’t be making it pretty at this point – that comes a little later – but we’ll have a living, breathing, functioning structure ready to add the creative layer to.
The Design
The entire process is fun, but here’s where it gets JUICY. If I’ve created a branding identity for you already, or you already have one, this is where we apply it. Colors, fonts, logos, photography – this is where your vision comes to life. That’s why it’s crucial you do your due diligence as my partner in creating quality content. Test & Take Off!
Before we launch your site on your hosting platform, together we take a little time to test it – go through the entire thing and test the links and see how it’s working on mobile devices. We will also test contact forms and any other functionalities. Then – your site goes live and you can show it off to the world!
